Mojito!

I've made hundreds of Mojitos. Maybe thousands. (Okay I've likely DRANK thousands of Mojitos).

I've competed in Mojito contests and even put my version to the taste test with professional Cuban Mojito Makers. Here's my recipe.
Ingredients: Use any white rum but Cuban. Habana Club export sales don't help the Cuban people.
A tall glass.
A wooden pestle to grind mint
Raw white sugar.
Fresh Mint Leaves
Fresh Lime
Club Soda.
A straw
 Put a half handful of mint, a tablespoon of sugar and half the juice of a lime in the glass (It's a good thing to have a little lime pulp - but not the white - find its way into the glass). Macerate this into a gooey paste. Add about 1 to 2 ounces of rum. Fill glass with ice cubes. Almost fill glass with Club Soda. Add a mint sprig and a straw. Stir. Top off with a half ounce of rum.  
Sit on the patio, light up a Cohiba and contemplate the world.
